General Information

The Municipality of Lefkara was founded in 1883 and it’s one of the oldest municipalities of Cyprus. Its main concern is developing the whole of the municipality and providing better living conditions for its inhabitants. Its inhabitants have access to many services provided by the municipality:

The municipality of Lefkara it's consider to be very active concerning cultural events all through the year, with major event the ANNUAL LEFKARA FESTIVAL, taking place every August. During the Annual Lefkara Festival artists for all over Cyprus and Greece come to Lefkara to perform (singing, dancing, theater e.t.c).
